P3D Scanning 3D slides the Web TV way

(sorry if this is a duplicate post...I didn't see my first attempt
appear on the list)

The only way we Web TV users have to scan pictures is to do video
captures with a camcorder connected to the Web TV box.  I originally
tried setting my TDC 116 projector beside my camcorder, and then
captured projected images on white poster board.  The adjustments for
precise framing were rather cumbersome.  I then realized I could simply
hold the mounted slide flush against the camcorder lens mount and let
the macro autofocus do the rest.  Minor zooming would allow for the
cropping I needed.  The results aren't half bad, and you can see them
