This is not the case. Digest format is one of the options you can choose per
list you subscribe to. Another option is web based - ie - you never receive
anything, it's just there waiting for you to log in and read from whereever
you are via a web browser.

On the other hand, I too am a list moderator, and the list I moderate is not
set up to require moderator approval for postings (similar to the original
[this one] P3D) so there is actually little work required.

Another concern, and Alexander and Dalia - please don't take any offense, is
that keeping the list here keeps it away from control by a for profit
entity. For example, I would enjoy the added traffic that would be generated
if I added the list to my 3D site (which I could since I have unlimited disk
space and free access to my ISP) but would not want to do this as I also
sell 3D Books and 3D-CDs there. Several of us have large 3D sites, and they
continue to grow. That is all good, and appreciated by everyone. However, I
would like to see this list be "seperate" from all of us as
individuals/businesses. Does that make sense?
Again, I hope I haven't offended...?
