P3D Slide scanner/ Question for Dan Shelley

Once you scanned the Realist slide into your computer, what was the
series of steps that you did to get the two images side by side? Also,
what was the image resolution (dpi) you used to scan the transperency
and what was the size of the file for the final image? Sorry for the
basic questions, but I haven't yet figured out how to do this well on my
scanner.
