Dan,
What is the model number of that light lid for the scanmaker X6
(buy.com lists 2 different ones). I have a Scanmaker X6 parallel
model(looks like yours in the pics) with the small transparency
thingy(its a flouresent light about the width of a 35mm film strip) .
It doesn't work very well for scanning slides. Looks like this bigger
light lid works very well though. Also what are the software settings
that you are using with the microtek Scanwizard software?
