Thanks to everyone for the flash recommendations.

This sounds like where I need to start.

The main subjects I am wanting to flash are European cathedrals and
occasionaly caves, both wide open spaces with very dark overall lighting,
so I think this totally dark GN is what I need most. I'm thinking that in
addition to testing each of my flashes separately this way I need to set
them both on manual and test them together too. Then I can start getting
an idea for what I'm really doing.

Once I have GN's for each flash separately and a combined one for both
together on camera, then I want to start learning about using the slave
off camera... I did order a copy of Mastering Flash Photography. I hope
it addresses manual cameras.

I'm taking two weeks in May to tour several British cathedrals so, I have
until then to get my act together.

Thanks for all the help.
