[photo-3d] 3D cursor

I was sharing some anaglyph line art files (Escher 3D conversions)
with a friend and she was commenting how the cursor (just a dot
in Paintbrush) seemed to be behind the objects sometimes and
sometimes in front of the objects. I tried it myself and it
seemed that if it was in a black area it seemed to be "behind"
and in a white area it was "in front of." This probably has
something to do with some recent discussions of this phenomenon,
but at the time I didn't connect it with anything I had
experienced. :-\
