I sell B & W photo paper on eBay.  I have shipped to Canada.
Maybe I am doing it wrong, but it is not a thrilling experience.

If I ship by UPS so I can have a tracking number then I have
to pay a broker fee (on a $30.00 order the total to customer
was $50.00).  If I ship by USPS ground with insurance then
it takes 6 weeks.  If I ship USPS air then I get supposedly
2 to 4 day delivery, but there is no tracking and no insurance.
That means the PO could throw the item in the trash and
I would never know what happened!  My local PO is not
knowledgeable in this area and has no interest in learning
more than they already know.  I spent hours searching the
net trying to find out about shipping into Canada.  I never
did find any easy to understand material that explains
broker fees, duties, and etc.

So, if there is an easy way to do this, I for one, would like to
hear more details.  I would love to advertise that I ship to
Canada. The photo paper that I sell is replaceable so I
don't worry about loss.  I do however have a lot of electronic
test equipment that I intend to sell on eBay and most of
these items are one-of-a-kind (and hopefully expensive!).
