I would say do that according to what kind of deal you
can get from them on it. It might be cheaper to buy
it before you leave and take it with you.
One thing you DO NOT want to do is put it in your
checked baggage on the airline. They have these new
X-ray machines that they X-ray luggage with that can
ruin film easily. Some people (including a crew from
National Geographic) have found this out the hard way.
You don't know which airports they are going to be
using them at. So if you take it with you, take it as
carry-on items and have it hand-inspected.
If you have it shipped to Hawaii by B&H it should not
be a problem.

Subject: Take Film with me or have it mailed to
Hawaii?
I'm planning ahead for my trip to Honolulu and am
wondering If it would be a good idea to buy my film
(I've decided on taking the rest of Paul Talbot's
old cold Velvia, and buy ProviaF) from B&H and have it
mailed to the hotel where I'll be staying. Is that
Kinda Risky?
Any advice would be very welcome.
Grant
