[photo-3d] 3D Wizard as an Underwater Camera?

I was going through my cameras and found a 3D wizard that has three glass, coated,
30 mm f 4.5 (3 elements 3 groups) lenses, and three settings f 4.5, f8 and f16.
Fixed shutter of 1/100 sec, built in flash range of 1.2m (4ft) - 3m (10ft), and
fixed focus at 1.2 M (4 ft) - infinity. Outside lenses are 1.5 inches (37 mm)
apart.
If I put this in a good clear watertight bag with a little rubber piece inside and
outside to help me advance the film, could I use this with slide film while
snorkeling in Hawaii? How would shooting it through water affect the focal range,
and the flash range and the film speed?
Any suggestions? I would greatly appreciate any advice or warnings.
Grant
