Good move George. However keep in mind that they are only really successful
with properly mounted slides in either RBT or Spicer precision cardboard
mounts.

Do not expect to be able to project a mixed show of (say) club member's
slides with various types of mounts. Even with all RBT mounts the mounting
needs to be 'spot on', which is not always the case when the slides are from
a number of makers. Also you will need to drop any high contrast slides that
tend to ghost from your shows.

Having said all of that, I would never use any other projector by choice for
my own or for Nancy's (wife) shows. Once a show is put together and loaded
into the slide trays, the projection is a dream. No adjustments are
necessary as the slides 'pin register' and focusing is automatic.

But George, why only one!!

Why not a pair with a Bässgen controller so that you can do those wonderful
fully automatic lap dissolve sound synchronised shows of the type that David
Stuckey, John Roll and all of those talented European stereo workers
produced at the Lindau (Germany) ISU Congress last year.

BTW, Nancy and I only have a single RBT Projector - but we are not making
all those ebay sales.
