George,

    I sense a bit of defensiveness in your response to my
call to reconsider 2x2's.  I didn't mean to provoke this
response, and I apologize if my tone caused it.  I may
have over-intepreted your previous postings as to what
your intentions are/were or what feedback you were
requesting.

    Whereas you were asking about RBT projectors,
I assumed we were talking about projected stereo images. :-)
You've  recently talked quite a bit about adding stereo
sound to your images and these ideas fold together perfectly with
a 2x2 + dissolver system (and are the reasons I'm going
that way).

P.S. - I'll still generate  realist-mounted slides, viewmaster reels,
          and MF images, and maybe a few cards now and then.  They just
          won't be the front runners quantity wise.  And 2x2's are
          "convertible" to/from rbt-mounts as desired, it's just a matter
          of having to re-mount (not true for those other named  formats).
