I have two of the Olympus cable releases at home. I'll check for
serial numbers if I remember when I get off work. I think I got both
of them on Ebay. I had to file off about 1.5 mm of one of the cable
ends so that the adjustability would be good enough for
synchronization. If anyone has seen the full frame slides I
took from my hike in the Enchantment Lakes Wilderness in Eastern
Washington, you saw what I did with them. They were Synched close
enough more than %50 of the time, but it depended on keeping the
cables motionless and firing them with your hand in the same
location.
In other words, the synchronization is dependant on the positioning
of the cables.
