No, they are not the same at all.  The 45 was designed at David White
as a cost reduction move.  The Kodak was providing some competion at
$89.
As it turned out the cost to produce the 45 was about the same as the
normal Realist.  Ron Jankowsky, tooling engineer at David White, told me
about this.
