[photo-3d] A Strange Thought

A short time ago a strange thought came into my mind. I was asking myself how the  
stereoscopic images would look like if our eyes are not placed side by side but 
one above the other with a separation of approx. 65 mm. We would still be able to 
see stereoscopically because each eye sees a different image. Not the horizontal 
deviation will give us the clues for calculating depth but the vertical 
deviation. 
I guess the stereoscopic image using "vertical eyes" is quite same as the image 
using "horizontal eyes".
Imagine, how strange we all would look like with vertically arranged eyes :-)
