Yeah; why not only let half the film go through, or even divide up the total 
rolls and let some go through each x-ray machine but none go through more 
than one? That, at least, has the trappings of an experiment. Sounds a lot 
safer to me for a guy who wants to take a lot of photos and probably can't 
get cheap replacement film where he's going.
