You mean a cheaper lab... I am using one of the best
labs in Cleveland... They drive to pick up my film
from work and return it there the next day.  They
put my uncut rolls in plastic sleeve and roll it in
a large cylinder.  I have never had any problems.
I pay extra for the convenience and ease of mind.

PS. I have been through the $2.95 processing route
and obviously I don't use it any more...
