Yes, any slave will fire a flashgun, but not all slaves will 
be triggered by a flashbulb. In fact most slaves won't, that 
is why I use an recommend the FireFly II slave. Many slaves 
have only a hotshoe, which means you must have a hotshoe to pc 
adaptor to be able to hook up the flashgun. Most anyone with a 
Realist camera has one of those anyway.

Tell me about the capacitor you got, that may still be the 
problem.

Makes you wonder why they used 15v and 22v batteries and a
