To Sergio and other list members:
I didn't believe it either when I first stumbled onto the effect in 1985. The
effect, if you detect it, is absolutely amazing. If you don't, you may
express some disappointed and may feel that my intent was to dupe or fool you
in some way. I can assure you that nothing could be further from the truth.
Others on the list how have seen it and have tried to explain it from their
perspective. I have also commented on some of the mechanisms that I believe
control the effect. All of us have fallen short in some way given that what
you will perceive (if you detect it) is a true stereoscopic image albeit
distinct from stereo pairs.
But tell me, why didn't you simply take the simple ten minute 3-DVG visual
test and see for yourself??
Respectively submitted,
Ken Dunkley
