   Stereo Friends,

   This message is a reminder of the New York Stereoscopic Society
   meeting this Friday, April 14 at 7:00pm.  PLEASE NOTE THE TIME
   CHANGE.  We're starting earlier to accommodate a very full night of
   presentations, including a surprise addition to the program.

   First we will hear from Julia Van Haaften, Curator of Photographs
   at the New York Public Library. She will speak on the libary's
   holdings in stereo photography and in particular her efforts to
   establish the website for the Dennis Collection.

   Next we will have a 3D slide show by Carles Moner, featuring the
   "Living Sculptures" in his native Barcelona, Spain. Mr. Moner will
   give a short talk on the EuroStereo Foundation and its efforts to
   promote stereo photography.

   And finally, out-of-town members Susan Pinsky and David Starkman
   will present a 3D slide show featuring their collection of special
   effects and trick stereophotography. Susan and David have promised
   to "wake everyone up" with this collection of image magic.

   This special meeting will be held in honor of David Hutchison, who
   will receive the coveted Founder's Trophy for his efforts on behalf
   of the New York Stereoscopic Society.

   The meeting will be held in the Linder Theater of the American
   Museum of Natural History. Use the 77th Street entrance, turn left
   at the big canoe and right past the Hall of Molluscs to the Theater
   lobby.

   reply to this message with an updated address.
