As in anything in life, moderation is desirable.  I have voted in
George's new poll but it doesn't address the entire problem IMHO.  I
don't mind an occassional poll and I've enjoyed the "funny" polls that
were put out there.

However, If I start receiving "new poll" messages more than I receive
conversation regarding photo-3d, I would expect the list
moderators/owners to take steps to limit the creation of a poll to the
moderators only.

Use, not abuse!
