The RBT X3 is based on the Ricoh XRXP3F and has the same
problem. It is compounded when I use the RBT Macro Attachment
as you have to use the shutter release on the macro to trigger
everything. When you are trying to maintain macro focus on a
moving bug waiting for him to get in just the right spot and
then find the camera has gone to sleep is just plain
frustrating! I have taken to the method of keeping the camera
switched off until I think I am ready to make the shot, then
switch it on and have the 10-30 seconds to frame the shot
before it goes back to sleep.
Has anyone else using Ricohs noticed a difference in the sleep
time? I sware sometimes it seems like 10 seconds and others
30. Maybe I am just too engroosed in capturing my subject and
time flies *{;-)
That's all for now,
