On the other hand, I don't have to deal with users who get irate about
having to use it, and having it not be available from time to time.

eBay just introduced Bidpay, a system they have been working on for over a
year, and I will be offering it instead. They have a much better
infrastructure, and yes, there are small fees, but I would rather have that
and a system that works all the time. In fact, for those who might be
interested, today is a free listing day on eBay IF YOU USE BIDPAY as one of
your payment options.
