Hey ya'll (that's Texan for youse guys),

First, thanks Klass for notifying the list that PayPal has problems with
foreign credit cards.  They have a whole section regarding international
availability in their FAQ.  The seller of the item Klass was bidding on
should have noted that he would take credit cards via PayPal as well as
noting the international exceptions.

Second, PayPal is a fairly new service and apparently has plans to
expand and encompass internationa customers.  So give them a chance to
grow.  From some of the messages I've seen here, their service has had
some growing pains simply servicing the US.

Third, there are other alternatives to PayPal, such as BidPay previously
mentioned.  Both have their pros and cons.  Use what's best for your
needs, whether you're a buyer or a seller.

Fourth, I would recommend contacting a seller prior to bidding on an
item to verify whether he/she will accept a PayPal or BidPay payment. 
Some sellers may not know of the service and others may not trust it
(the "check in hand is worth..." syndrome).

In all, I think that PayPal is a unique idea and a good service for all
who want to help speed up their on-line transactions.  And, I'm sure
they'll encompass the international market in due time.

Imagine, you could sell something via sell-3d and make your payment via
PayPal and get the item shipped to you on the same day!  Now, that's
convenience.
