[photo-3d] Lenticular computer displays

I've been playing a bit with ink-jet printed lenticular images, but
mainly with ink-jet printed autostereoscopic barrier displays. (I've
gotten better stereo with the barriers) A stereo pair
is "multiplexed",that is,the even numbered vertical rows of pixels
from one image are combined with the odd numbered vertical rows from
the other, then a black line screen printed on transparent material
is spaced a suitable distance in front. When viewed from exactly the
correct position the effect is quite good. I have also managed to
pull this off on a laptop. I usually bring a few of these images with
me to the quarterly meetings of the New York Stereoscopic Society, and
to Mr. Tom Deering's "third friday" stereo dinner in case anyone
would like to see them. John Billingham
