[photo-3d] Lenticulars

As I mentioned in a previous posting, I have been playing with
lenticulars on an ink jet printer, although I get better images with
barriers. There is a Taiwanese company, I-art Corp. that sells a kit
with software and material to make your own lenticulars, also, extra
lenticular material .www.iart3d.com I-art's kit makes "flip"
images, "motion" images and "3D" images. I put 3D in quotes because
the software only lets you composite 2D images into layered "planes",
nevertheless it works quite well. If you think about this software a
bit, you will realise how to "trick" it into making true 3D
lenticulars, although not full size. Christoph Bungert at his
Stereo3D.com site reviews the i-art products. Sergio, Gabriel, do
your names look familiar from Christoph's "discussion" column? I have
also gotten lenticular material from Frank Didik, who ran ads in the
classifieds of Stereo World. Multiplexed regards,John Billingham
