[photo-3d] Canon Rebel X

  Just my 2 cents worth on the Canon Rebel X. I just sold mine back in
November last year. I had it since 1995. The camera is ok, the  metering
system very accurate and flexable. The lens, a 35-something zoom, stunk.
  The lens was a Canon lens, but possibly the worst one they ever put
on a camera. I had considered keeping the camera and ditching the lens as
the fixed-focus lenses are just fine. Cost was a concern as the fixed lenses
were rather on the pricey side.
  Pluses on this camera are its light weight and excellent metering system.
  On the negative side, don't buy the standard zoom. I think its a 35-83 or
in that neighborhood. Its a clinker.
