I'm looking for a book dealing with the process of vision including binocular
vision and stereopsis. I've already checked Dan Shelley's book list and the book
shop at stereoscopy.com, but I couldn't find a book. I've had a look at
amazon.com and found many books dealing with visual perception. But which book is
worth to buy? Which book discusses stereopsis in detail?

The book "Binocular Vision and Stereopsis" by Ian P. Howard looks very
interesting, but 145 Dollars is much more than I want to spend for a single book.

Has anyone read the book "Human Perception of Objects : Early Visual Processes
for the Spatial Form Defined by Luminance, Color, Texture, Motion, and Binocular
Disparity" by David Regan? It's quite new, published in April 2000. Would you
recommend it?

What about the book "Eye and Brain : The Psychology of Seeing" by Richard L.
Gregory? Does this book also describes stereopsis?

Is there any book you can recommend? Thanks in advance.

[To the German speaking P3Dlers: Am besten wäre natürlich ein deutschsprachiges
Buch über des Sehen einschließlich des Raumsehens. Falls jemand so ein Buch weiß,
schreibt mir am besten offline. Danke im voraus.]
