Duke writes, in part:
<< I [snip would like to [snip]:

1. Duplicate Realist slides
2. Make negatives from
Realist slides
3. Make slides from Nimslo negatives
I assume Ektachrome 5071 film is best for slide dupes, but what film
is best to make an interneg, and even more important (to me),
what film will make a slide(positive) from a negative? >>

I refer you to:

http://www.kodak.com/cluster/global/en/professional/support/databanks/
filmDatabankColorRev.shtml

and especially the last reference, publication E103lf, described as
"KODAK PROFESSIONAL Laboratory Films matrix
(describing EKTACHROME Slide Duplicating Films, VERICOLOR
Slide and Print Films, Commerical Internegative Films, and other
films used for specialty applications)"

  Duke asks, in closing:

<<If you shoot anegative with negative film
will you end up with a positive? >>

The answer is, sort of. The film you are looking for is Kodak
Vericolour Slide (VS) film, a C-41 process film with no orange
masking. It is designed for exactly this purpose but also finds some
use in making title slides.

There are other specific "lab" films offered but they may be harder
to
filnd. Fuji's internegative film is called "IT-N", their slide
duplicating film is "CDU Type II". I do not think they offer
anything
to compete with Kodak's VS.

Good luck,

Mike C
