Duke, for your number 3 project, there is a Kodak film made for making
slides from color negs. It is Vericolor SO-279, (Special Order-279)
which is very slow and is balanced for tungsten 3200 K. It is designed
for exposure times from 1/4 sec. to 8 seconds. It will require some
experimentation to determine the best exposure. Set your meter exposure
index somewhere between 2 and 8 to start with and adjust your light level
and/or your aperture (if there is one on the slide duplicator) to make
your exposures somewhere between the 1/4 sec. to 8 seconds. Even after
your experiments, it is best to bracket your exposures as this stuff has
very little margin for error. For critical color accuracy, a filter pack
may be necessary but I have found that the 3200 K light source will yield
pretty good results most of the time without the filter pack. As an
aside, this is also the film used for making reversed text slides with
extremely saturated colors. Good luck and have fun.
