[photo-3d] Stereo Dinner in Manhattan tomorrow

I can't wait for "Third Friday".  Tomorrow night, a handful of stereo 
enthusiasts from around the New York area will converge on a charming 
little restaurant on Manhattan's Upper West Side.  And do we have a 
blast!

Sometimes we get visitors from the rest of the planet.  This time, 
Bill Moll may join us.  He's the swell guy that, among other things, 
organizes the NSA workshops.  Maybe he'll give us a preview of what's 
in store six weeks from now.  Plus he says he will bring his
*digital* 
stereo camera, which will be very cool.

For my part, I have medium format slides of Hong Kong to show, and a 
couple of pretty ones taken in the Valley of Fire, Nevada.  If you 
like, bring along your own slides and viewer and join the fun.

If this is your first time, people usually show up between 6:30 and 
7:30, although you can come and go any time.  We have no set agenda
or 
special topics, we just share some favorite slides and shoot the 
breeze.  And we squeeze in a good meal somehow.  Bring your stereo 
pictures or slides, or look at ours.  There is no membership, and 
first-timers are particularly welcome.

It's the people that make this evening special.  Sure, I enjoy
looking 
at the slides that people bring, but it's the conversations and 
camaraderie that make it such a pleasure.

We do it again tomorrow, Friday May 19, at La Cocina: 217 West 85th 
Street, just off Broadway in Manhattan.  It's a guaranteed good time.
