Rather than glueing the septum on the window, another 
idea would be to use those thin flexible magnets. They
can be cut to any size very easily, with scissors. You
can usually buy them from stationary or hardware stores.
You can then take it on and off and it won't fall off
that readily.

Of course you can always put some spit on the suckers,
to make them stay a bit more secure. Aggghhh! ;-)
