I bought my twist-on septum for about $6 from the same guy (can't
remember his name) who sold me my camera. His email address was
baerman351@xxxxxxxx (That's baerman351 at AOL dot COM, in case
eGroups decides to chop the address.)
The septum, though, is a fairly simple geometric shape. If you, or
anyone else, are interested, I could post the dimensions, and you
could probably make one yourself out of rubber, plastic or wood.

Yeah, I think you could. I haven't, because it would force me to go
out and get a bigger camera bag. I don't think I would use a hot
glue
gun like someone else suggested, though. I'd be too worried about
thermal shock cracking the glass.
