[photo-3d] Bulbs and Batteries

I prefer to use the halogen bulb in my Red Button. I have tried other
bulbs and was not as satisfied with the resullts. The AC adapters are
too restrictive for my viewing environments. At half-life I replace the
D cells from my flashlights and other electronic toys, and use these in
the Red Button. A depleting battery and halogen bulb, still looks better
to me than a conventional bulb using various battery strengths. Perhaps
it's just placebo for me, or maybe some list members can verify if a
halogen bulb remains at higher kelvin ratings as the batteries deplete?
Seems to me the halogen is closer to daylight balance with used
batteries, VS the other bulbs with new batteries? I'd be curious to see
illumination, color temp, depletion curves of the various bulbs.
