Kevin,

Do you have any pics online that you have taken with this twin rig? 
What about a pic of the design you have used which allows you to go from
side-to-side mount to base-to-base in 5 seconds?  What have you done for
that?

As to twin Ricoh 35R, I have been using a setup like that for sometime. 
It is rather simple though.  I have them on a slidebar side-by-side.  ID
is around 144 mm.  Since I prefer to take a lot of closeups this is too
wide for me so I've been experimenting with other setups.  For shutter
sync I use a dual electronic cable between the two cameras.  I do not
take stereo pairs in auto exp. mode, just manual.  The sleep mode is
incredibly annoying.
