[photo-3d] wobble stereo / motion parallax

Maybe that is what I saw back in '91, or at least related. There was a lot
of flicker to the image, but the effect was more stereoscopic than the
wobble examples currently under discussion. I mean, that ball really was
in and out of the screen by a couple of inches - it was not just an
impression of depth, which is what I get from the wobble image.
My wife Janet is stereoblind, but I have been able to give her a good
impression of what stereo is like by showing her lenticulars. When you
hold the lent and rotate it a bit while viewing, you perceive the three
dimensionality through motion parallax (for me to receive exactly the same
impression, I just hold it so the parallax is vertical, and rotate back and
forth vertically). She was amazed to finally have a little idea what the
fuss was all about in my life!
