I would equate it to this analogy: Someones goes to a theater and sees 
Star Wars and says wow how I can I do that? You say go out and buy a 
camcorder and a couple of model ships and shoot away.

If she is so impressed by the images taken with your Realist in your 
Red Button viewer, then she needs to buy a Realist (or Kodak, or TDC, 
etc.) and a Red Button. If you were to show her prints from a 
Loreo/Argus I don't think she would be anywhere near as impresssed.

Not much different than showing someone a print from a large format 
camera and giving them a 110 and saying it will produce the same 
results.

Certain results requires certain equipment, knowledge, and dedication.
