Loreo sounds like your best bet for this particular person. 
http://www.arguscamera.com/products.htm has the camera (or Reel 3D or
others) and then do a mod for her such as the ones at
http://www.evermore.com/3d/loreo_mods.php3 so she doesn't get completely
turned off by the thing (first do a test roll before mods and if there
are problems contact Argus or Loreo and get repairs done by them while
under warranty.  If you do the evermore mods you lose the warranty but
will get better pics.
