I really appreciate Dr. T. saying this - more than you might
think.

It was less than five years ago when I first started in stereo
photography. I had no idea what I was doing and asked the p3d
group for help. Dr. T. offered to look at some of my slides
and offer his opinion. I told him that I had very thick skin
and to be brutally honest. I know what some of you are
thinking: "first you don't need to ask Dr. T. not to hold back
and then why would anyone seek out such punishment!". Well I
seriously wanted to learn and Dr. T. gave me what I was
looking for. He told me that I didn't know the first thing
about mounting stereo slides and wondered if I even understood
what the stereo window was. Now, in his defense, I must say
that he had a mental picture of what I was and what I new from
the posts I had been making on p3d up to that point. He
thought I was old and experienced and was expecting to see
outstanding work. My sloppiness took him by surprise.

After we got over that stage he helped me greatly and I slowly
got better until I won his approval and he said that he
couldn't help me with mounting any more.

Now here we are today where I am helping him teach mounting
classes at NSA Conventions and he states that he is learning a
thing or two from me *{;-)

Thank you Dr. T. for all your help in getting me where I am
today.

That's all for now,
