[photo-3d] Thanks and projection screens

I'd like to thank everyone for the hospitality extended to the new
guy. My wife and I spent most of the
daytimes in the desert but caught most of the good stuff in the
presentations and at the trade show. I
shot 14 rolls of film while we were there, again mostly of the
desert. Now the fun of mounting it begins.
When I got back I did my usual rounds of junk shops and thrift stores
looking for odds and ends when I
found a silver screen 40 X 40 for ten bucks at a pawn shop. The
screen is flat, it doesn't have the ribbed
texture that my larger screen has. It works great for projecting
polarized images, and seems to reflect a
much sharper image than the ribbed one. I've never run into a smooth
screen like this before and have
always accepted the loss of detail with the ribbed one as a result of
the projection process. The smooth
screen doesn't look as sturdy and appears sprayed on. Can you buy the
refective paint to spray on a
piece of fabric to make your own screen? Should I be looking for
other types of screens to project the
polarized light at?
Thanks Mi
