[photo-3d] Slide Show 2

My second idea for the audio involves a 6 speaker set-up to simulate the
Dolby digital experience. Using a multi-track recorder and seperate
power amps, an Imax experience can be delivered to a small audience.
This is no easy task as audio/studio knowledge is required, however a
simple 4 track tape deck could simulate a Dolby Pro Logic experience
with some effort. If the deck has extra channels, a seperate channel can
be dedicated to the projector operator ( wearing an earbud or phones)
with audio cues. Even live dialogue can be delivered professionally. The
dialogue can be pre-recorded and sent to the narrator via phones, then
the narrator recites the dialogue verbatim through a live microphone.
This " Leap of Faith" approach ( anyone remember that movie?) would
transform any narrator into Steve Martin. :-)
The more experienced slide show producers may wish to experiment with
such projects, as this may be too involved for others. You would need a
truck to carry all the gear, and set-up could take 1-2 hours. The
demands of the audio quality are higher through speakers as opposed to
headphones. An audio CD could be burned from the deck, and used for the
headphone presentation.
