[photo-3d] Cordless Headphone Considerations

Other factors you should consider while selecting headphones:
* power supply- alkaline, ni-cad, rechargable etc. If rechargable, can
you use a common type recharger, or is it proprietary?
* surrounds- plastic, foam rubber, padded vinyl etc. Can you clean them?
Can you replace them?
* availability of replacement models- if using budget phones, forget
about fixing them. Will the mfgr offer replacements working on the same
frequency?
* ease of use- on/off switch only . Use models that offer adjustments on
the transmitter if possible.
* adjustability- if too tight, or falling off, you'll lose your
audience
* select phones first- produce audio later. Use the phones to mix /
produce the program.
If it sounds good through the phones, you've got your program. ( don't
expect this same audio to sound good through room speakers...it won't)
Excellent production through both headphones, and room speakers is a
very involved task indeed.
