I am still recovering from the shock :)

The TDC 116 is the workhorse of 1950s stereo projectors.
Comes with a carrier wide enough to show 8p stereo slides.
The carrier has a back channel, tall enough (50mm) to fit
2x2 slides but some way of holding the two together will
be needed. Other than that, it is not lightweight, small,
or pretty. It is a big heavy piece of indestructible machinery.
You might like it! :)

For your needs, this is the only 1950s projector I would
recommend. They run from $200 to $350. You will need
a silver screen. 50 inch should fit your needs. You can find
a used one for $20 if you are lucky.

Other than that you are looking at a Brackett Dissolver or
Fader, FED or RBT. I have no experience with the FED.
The other two might be too expensive for your needs.

Why not use two regular projectors since most of your slides
are in 2x2 mounts?
