Hi,
In the context of that list, what is the definition
of "best" and the weightings of the various attributes that
could be used to determine "best"?
Can we assume something like (in priority order):
1. Optics, stopped down to f/8
2. Optics, fully open
3. Shutter accuracy
4. Format (120, 5P, 7P, ...)
5. mechanical ruggedness
6. Does cost enter "best" equations?
7. User interface ease of use
8. Availability for repair services and/or parts
9. Type of focus mechanism, if any
10. Styling (I've a friend who LOVES the look of the TDC vivid
so he bought one)
10. ......
If we can finish a list, give numerical weightings, then
discuss 1~10 ratings for each camera and attribute, we
can then make a spreadsheet to give the results. Of
course, it'd still be opinion based results, but then....
How's this for a start?
