No, the pricing applies to any stereo processing. I have in the past
sent my slides to Kodak via our local Target store which uses the local
Qualex lab. Since I take great care to mark all my slides with "Stereo
Realist Format" when I send them in, I know they get routed to the
proper place.

I used to get these back priced with the normal slide processing pricing
even though there was a $4.20 surcharge at the time if you mailed them
in. The last couple of rolls had the "then current ($8.00?) surcharge
added to the normal slide developing charge making each of my rolls over
$12.00. I'm assuming that the current charges ($14.00 & $17.00) would
now be added to the normal slide developing charge.

However, I have also finally found a small one-hour lab near work which
processes slides in one hour (actually about two hours). The gentlemen
who run the place were very nice and followed my directions quite well
(i.e. develop only, no cut, no mount). In fact, he said he looked at
them and couldn't cut them anyway because they were "too small". I
purchased a few hundred heat seal mounts a while back and have mounted
two of the three rolls. I'll get to the third when I can clear my desk
again.

I may try a roll via Wolf Camera to see what happens and what the price
is. I sure do miss the days when stereo processing was in Dallas (since
that's where I am)! A three to four day turnaround was the norm back
then!

Regards,
Ron
