Some kind person posted a 'how to connect an external flash to Olympus XAs'
item over a year ago. It was a great tip, I remember how to do it but do not
recall who posted it.
Just get an A11 flash (working or not), remove the guts, fit a PC contact
and/or a hot shoe to the A11 and soldered to the (proprietary) connector.
Voila! One custom XA-to PC or hot shoe (or both) connector for your XA or
XA2 twin rig.
I think that the '11' in 'A11' is the guide number in metres. There was also
an A16 (guide number 16) flash for the XA cameras.
