[photo-3d] slide processing

My local store told me that Kodalux is behind two months due to a "mounting
machine breaking down" so I've decided to mount my slides myself. My
question is, am I better off having Kodalux develop my slide film and send
it back uncut, or should I have a local lab process the film. I am worried
that the local lab will cut the film even though I tell them not to (out of
force of habit). I seem to remember some people complaining about local labs
cutting their film some time ago.
