Thanks.  That is the reassurance I needed.

Yes.  Unfortunately, I work a lot with color relationships and find Velvia
too unpredictable.  I can vividly remember each time it let me down.  In the
future, when I get set up with Photoshop, one of the first things I will try
is to repair those colors.
