Many thanks to all who replied; I initially thought the
sender was only contacting the list moderators, as I first
saw the message when it was addressed to photo-3d-owners.
Being basically a nice guy ;-) I had assumed that the
sender wanted info about photo-3d, or help subscribing
to the list.  When others wrote they were also getting
the message, I realized I'd been off-track.  :-(

Thanks especially to Joe Duszynski who provided the
actual translation that became the final proof it was
in fact spam.

FYI, I discovered last night that the sender joined the
photo-3d list 6/16/00; that's how he got so many of our
e-mail addresses.  I have now both unsusbscribed him and
added him to the "banned" list.  In addition to the
spammers address (chuyi04640321@xxxxxxxx), I have also
unsubscribed and banned a similar address chuyi2000@xxxxxxxx,
who joined one day earlier.

Many apologies for the intrusions.
