Quite right. Have you had your S1 slides mounted by the
processing shop, then just dropped them into your Comby set in
2x2 mode? Did they make your eyes get stressed out beyond
belief (like they might if projected)? Or could you
look at them just fine, and enjoy the remembrance of
the scene in 3D, even window's edge looks funny? Can
one enjoy a masterpiece painting even if it's frame has
flaking paint and has rusty nails? I say yes indeed!

I enjoy good food. I think that high quality farm-fresh
vegetables and fruits are superb and I enjoy them. The
haydn mangos off my grandmother's trees in Hawaii were magnificent.
I very much enjoy high quality gourmet food as well. But can I
enjoy a BBQ'd burger and love it? You bet. Do I serve
burgers to guests outside the immediate family? No, I don't.
Should I feel guilty about eating food of so much less quality
than I *could* produce? I say no.
Dropping those 2x2's into my Comby viewer is something I
find enjoyable. Most are, IMO, extremely nice and extremely
good (especially if family is in in the picture) to look at.
With "no" labor involved, I can look at them all enough to
enjoy them. Only a small subset will be remounted and/or
cropped to perfection, vast majority will stay in their
current "factory" state (recall, 576 stereo pairs in less than
a week, not up to your production but still good for me).

I think they should be fully enjoyed, then later when the
better ones are remounted, enjoyed even more.
