I have found that Wess Tabs are very handy to tape the chips to the jig so
they don't fall out when placing the jig on the spicer mount.  I didn't
notice this problem before, but lately I find it impossible to flip the
jig over without losing a chip.  I do notice it more on 4p images, but 5p
as well.  I never found any other use for Wess Tabs as the adhesive is so
goey that it unusable to fasten the chips to the mount with them.  The
chips can easily drift all out of alignment.

I will have to try making some more jigs with the rails fixed permanently
in place for standard mounts.  That would save a considerable amount of
time.
